Ok, finally I got in, so …… now what?

Currently searching for ways to get a better finanical aid, and house hunting.

But what I want to know is how to survive, better yet how to breeze to first year, other than STUDY STUDY STUDY? Is there anything that First year students need to look out for, something to avoid or something that you much do?

When will be the right time to start study for the board exam, and even take it? Year 1 or Year 2?

Should I get a new laptop? ahhhh NOW WHAT?

1st year is alright compared to second year. I would enjoy your time right now before dental school and come to realize that you are going to have to study study study for a few years of your life to get what you want. It is hard work but it is rewarding and sometimes fun.

At temple you take the boards during the summer after your second year.

I used dental decks and my personal class notes. If I was to do it again I would use the Kaplan book which i think costs around 300 bucks. It is easy to pass, just hard to get a higher score.

U talking about this one?

Do they really have to separate part I and II into 2 books?

How come we have 500+ view on this post but u and me are the only one posting?

This site is pretty cool, wish ppls are more active

Thats not the cover I recognize…I think you can only buy the book through Kaplan and it is about 200-300 dollars…I THINK!

I don't know why people aren't more active, I try! I hope at least it helps, whether they lurk or get involved…

Thanks to you though for asking questions.

How were the first two days of orientation? I remember a lot of boring downtime….but I gather they are trying to make it more fun.

See you around the halls.
